Model: Lewis Oliver Ried, Toby Woolard

This piece is created to reflect on my past skills (just like Cycle 23), to see how far I’ve been. I had the chance to recreate the same shot with the same model. Although I instructed the model to look out to the far end instead of using their cameras. This reflects how all of us (me and the model) are growing and want to enjoy the view instead of having to photograph it. “live in the moment” as they said.
I also choose to use a photo of sunset at a field that I’ve taken back in the past. Knowing that this piece was taken in London makes the piece as if you’re missing home (Suffolk). This hit quite close to home since I will be missing Woodbridge, Suffolk (as my 2nd home)since I will be moving to London for university.
I notice that my production photography skills got better. This may be coming from the camera since I used PowerShock G15 and the one I used for the 2022 version is Canon 700D which might gave it a better quality. But I also feel like my skills on the camera settings made this photo a lot better this might be because I know more in-depth about how the camera works compares to my Year 11 self.
