Dualism means the division of something conceptually into two opposed or contrasting aspects or the state of being so divided.
This piece was to use that idea to reflect on the ongoing world and the contrast between some of the communities believing that there is a spiritual world and a physical world coexisting at the same time. I represented the idea of the concept by creating two separate pieces; one of a religious-like painting and one that is more futuristic but still a reality, while presenting them in one with a small border that split those two, the border was thin enough to be unrecognisable, but if zoomed in it would show the parallel between the 2 worlds. These 2 pieces were use to represent the contrast within’ both belief and world.w
This piece was made through the term of manipulative Photoshop; a mixture of layers and the use of blending mode and a mixture of images to create one piece.
